We upgraded the roof of this conservatory in Maidenhead, Berkshire by removing the existing polycarbonate sheets and replacing them new glass panels.
Advantages of a glass roof, in comparison with a polycarbonate roof:
- Glass is more weather resistant
- Glass roofs are more energy efficient
- Glass is more aesthetically pleasing
- Glass conservatories add more value to home
The conservatory can now be used all year round – whereas with the polycarbonate roof the owners commented that it was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.
