We were called to a house at Henley which had a conservatory were a glass unit in the roof had been broken. However each of the glass units in the roof had a covering with a special film to prevent excessive heat in the conservatory. Unfortunately the film was no longer available and to replace the broken unit with a modern anti-sun glazed unit would have been very visible in the conservatory appearance.
As a result the owner decided to replace all the glazed units in the conservatory roof section. This would provide a consistent appearance, allow more light through and prevent excess heat from getting into the conservatory.
